Designed and developed a website for artist 이재윤 Jane Lee.
Jane’s poetic, language-driven practice spanning surface, space, and screen is translated into a web experience with a vertical center navigation and image collage fading in and out on scroll. Typeface used is Nanum Myeongjo Eco, originally designed for print efficiency. Its Swiss cheese–like perforations reduce ink usage while maintaining the appearance of a traditional serif when printed, as the ink bleed fills in the gaps. On screen, the type has a lighter quality, introducing a subtle ephemeral materiality to the digital space.
The website is available in Korean and English, and was built with customized CMS using Sanity and Next.js.
